Revit Dynamo

This course is designed to equip architects, engineers, BIM modelers, and design technologists with advanced parametric and computational design capabilities using Dynamo for Revit. The primary aim is to transform how design and documentation tasks are executed in BIM projects by introducing automation, customization, and intelligent workflows. Dynamo, a visual programming tool for Revit, empowers professionals to move beyond manual modeling by developing rule-based systems, automating repetitive tasks, and generating complex geometries that are otherwise time-consuming or impossible using traditional modeling methods.

The course starts from foundational concepts of node-based programming and gradually builds up to advanced applications like data extraction, geometry manipulation, parametric family creation, and interoperability with external software (Excel, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Robot Structural Analysis, etc.). It emphasizes real-world problem-solving, where participants learn to streamline tasks like automated sheet generation, clash detection prep, space planning, adaptive components placement, and BIM data management using customized scripts.
